Phonics - Speed Sound Set 3

Children need to continue to recap all the speed sounds from set 3 to prepare them for their phonics screening test.

This week in English we will continue to look at the main character in a story. This week please follow lessons 6-10 to find out how writers make characters interesting and develop a character in a story.

In PBL this week we will be continuing our science topic; animals including humans. The task this week is to compare animals from the same group. Attached is a photo pack where you can take a closer look at animals from the same group and identify what is similar and what is different. Use the worksheet provided to note these similarities and differences for each group. We look forward to seeing your completed worksheets when you return to school.
