Learning for session:
WALT: describe equivalent lengths by converting.
WILFs:
- I know there are 100cm in 1 metre.
- I need to convert metres into centimetres to make them the same unit of measure. E.g 2m would be 2 lots of 100cm, which equals 200cm.
- To convert centimetres to metres, I will use the hundreds column to see how many hundreds there are. E.g 567cm There are 5 hundreds, so this would be 5 metres.
Firstly, watch this video which will help explain what to do.
Use the WILFs to help you work through the questions.
