Before we come to write our introduction to our persuasive letter, we need to have a think about what it is we want the council to do to reduce waste in the UK. 

 

I'd like you to think of possible things that could be done to make more people recycle.

Here are some of my ideas:

 

• Put more recycling points in the high street 

• Rewards for those who recycle 

• Get supermarkets/producers to use recyclable materials on their packaging 

• A campaign to encourage the public to recycle.

Thinking positively is great for our mental health. It's not just our bodies that we need to make sure stay fit and healthy, it's our minds too. This lesson looks at what is a happy mind and different ways in which you can be happy. 

 

From this lesson today, I want you to create an image, a poster, a quote.. whatever it may be, to share happiness to others.
