People who help us

This half term we started by learning about people who help us: The Fire Service, The Police, The Ambulance Service and dentists! On the creative table we made lots of bright fires using a range of different material such as sugar paper and card. The children really enjoyed using cardboard boxes to create police cars and using these in the construction area by placing a road on the floor from wooden blocks. We all especially loved making sure our teeth were clean by sticking white material onto teeth. Have a look!

Nursery Sports Day!

Last week the Nursery children participated in the annual Sports Day. Thankfully the weather was kind to us so we could take part in lots of different races! All the children received a very shiny gold sticker for having a go and doing their very best. All of the staff were very impressed! We can’t wait to welcome all parents back to Sports Day next year (hopefully) as I am sure you will all be extremely proud of what the children achieve!

Multi culture week
 

Nursery learnt all about China during multi culture week. We listened to traditional Chinese music, ate some prawn crackers and decorated some traditional Chinese dragons. We were very intrigued about how people live in different countries and it really opened our eyes to a different way of life. Take a look at how we decorated one of our Chinese dragons!
