WALT: describe equivalent lengths by converting.

 

WILFs:

1. I know there are 1000m in 1km. 
2. I need to convert kilometres to metres to make them the same unit of measure. E.g 2km would be 2 lots of 1000m, which equals 2000m. 
3. To convert kilometres to metres, you can times the number by 1000. For example, 3km times by 1000 is 3000m.
