Welcome to Little Dreamers Nursery!

We have had a very busy and exciting first term. the children have settled well and have enjoyed exploring the new environment.

Please remember that we do enjoy using our outdoor area daily, the weather never stops us from exploring and learning! So please send your child with the appropriate clothing.

We still have spaces in Time for Twos and Nursery so please contact the school office and arrange to look around our wonderful nursery.

Thank you for your continued support.

Numbers and counting.

We are now beginning to recognise number within child initated play, we enjoy counting different actions and objects.

Mothers Day Celebrations.

We celebrated how special our Mums were this week. We created a card and drew our Mums, we then told our teacher why they were so special to us.

Outdoor fun!

Whilst outdoors we have enjoyed playing on the bikes which has helped develop our gross motor skills and practiced turn taking.

Wonderful words

We have enjoyed learning and using new words in our play!

Challenge us to tell you all about it at home!

First and Last

Dough Disco (3 and 4 year olds)

Everyday we take part in Dough Disco. We squeeze, roll, poke and slap play dough to the rhythm and beat of some of our favourite songs (we're really enjoying The Wheels on the Bus at the moment). Taking part in this activity helps develop our dexterity and finger isolation skills, it's also very fun!

Number Fun (3 and 4 year olds)

This term in nursery we have been learning all about the numbers 1-5. We have been practicing counting objects, recognising the numerals and representing numbers in different ways. By writing the numbers, making them using play dough and using cubes we have also been developing our fine motor skills. We have even made a display to showcase our fantastic learning!

Days of the Week and Months of the Year (3 and 4 year olds)

Every day we update our calendar. This has helped us begin to learn the days of the week and months of the year. We have songs that we sing that help us to remember them. Challenge us o sing them at home for you!

Many and Few

Marvellous Mark Making (3 and 4 year olds)

When we started nursery in the Autumn Term we were asked to draw a picture of ourselves in our Learning Journeys. We were then asked to draw ourselves again in the Spring Term. Look at our marvellous mark making and how much progress we have made in a term!
