Art

You will need:

  • Empty toilet roll/ kitchen roll/ rolled up plain paper.
  • Brightly coloured pens/ crayons/ paints.

Last week, we had a go at creating our own Ndebele art patterns by sticking brightly coloured shapes onto black card.

Now I would like you to have a go at decorating your own South African hut using Ndebele art.

Can you draw shapes and patterns onto your toilet roll or paper and colour them in with the brightest colours you can find. Remember, the women paint these free-hand in South Africa, so you don't need to use a ruler, just give it your best!
