We were very lucky to have a special guest visitor today. Adam Waldron, from Ska Boys Boxing Academy came in and put the children through their paces. He began with a Q&A session, into a warm up then gave everyone the chance to put on a pair of boxing gloves and have a couple of minutes light sparring with him. Everyone enjoyed it so much that he is welcome back anytime!

Maple Tree were treated to a day of risk taking and pushing themselves beyond their limits at Kingswood Aventure, Shropshire. When we arrived we were taken over the obstacle course, here the children were set a number of teamwork challenges. Following that, we turned into Hawk Eye, Green Arrow and Robin Hood where were fired arrows towards the targets. After lunch we became builders and climbers. Crates were staked tall until the instructor called out “Timber” At that point the children jumped off and swung around before being gently lowered to the ground. A great day was had by all!
