Ordering objects short to long

Today we are focusing on the words long and short.  Watch the video to help you understand these words.

Ordering Objects

Collect different objects (twigs, pencils). 

Can you talk about which objects are long and which objects are short? 

Can you find the shortest object?

Can you find the longest object?

Could you put your objects in order from shortest to longest?

Here are a few objects you could use:

* strips of paper

* sticks
