Year 4

Autumn 1: Birthdays

During our Spanish lessons, we have practised our numbers to 31 so we can use this when saying when our birthday is as well as answering how old we are in Spanish.

Week 1

WALT: orally rehearse numbers to 10 using the correct pronunciation
We practised saying our numbers with a partner to 10. We took turns to say the numbers in Spanish. Have a listen.

In today’s lesson, we learnt to say the months of the year as well as how we say ‘my birthday is the...’ We used our knowledge of counting in Spanish to say when our birthdays are. Here is a clip of children having a conversation, asking each other when their birthday is and replying.
