Week beginning 6.7.20

f you have any problems or need something explaining please continue to email in to year6@hawbush.dudley.sch.uk. I look forward to seeing what you have produced.

Please follow the link below to complete the set tasks for the week beginning 22nd June. I have added all of the resources that you need for the week, you can still access the Friday challenge though directly from White Rose.

I have uploaded some daily reading tasks that should take around 15 - 20 minutes for you to complete at home. Each day you shall be looking at a front cover and blurb of different books, making predictions on what the stories may be about. This will be followed by some comprehension questions from a snippet of the text.

We are continuing this week with poetry; reading and identifying features of language of cats and Russian dolls, creating your own poems and listening to film soundtracks and creating your own narratives.

As we did last week, read through the daily tasks set and complete each activity.

Following on from our previous lesson we shall be identifying the characteristics of different types of microorganisms. Look through the PowerPoint and complete the sheet where you will be creating your own microorganism.

Last week you were researching the different forms of street art; discovering where each form originated from and what goes in to creating a piece like this.

This week I would like to see you creating your own street art masterpieces. You will be replicating your favourite form from last week and adding your own touch to it. Don't forget to send in your creations for me to see!

his week I would like you to look at Year 6 - Unit 6b lessons 1 & 2. Follow the sequences of learning an ensure you enter your coding accurately to reach the intended goal.
