Click on the link then complete:
- Food chain challenge- Savannah
- Food chain challenge- Tundra
- Food chain challenge- Woodland
This is a refresher of food chains which include herbivores, omnivores and carnivores all of which we have already looked at in year 4.
Can you draw and create three animals that could live in these three different climates? Think about their teeth (herbivore, omnivores and carnivores), skin (fur, scales etc.), type (reptile, bird, mammal, amphibian) and key feature (huge ears, extra sharp teeth, colour of fur, retractable claws). Once you have drawn the picture label its feature and give it a name.
Please take a picture of it and send it to my email address.
Music: Flutes
Dear Parent/Guardian
Your child was having a Flute lesson at school once a week. Although they are not able to play the instrument as it remains at school, there are still things they can do at home to help them get better at music.
Below is a link to a musical activity and a song that they can do. Please have a go and encourage your child to join in – you may even want to do them as a whole family.
