Maths

 

We are continuing to follow the White Rose home learning scheme in order to finish the sequence of learning. Please follow the link below to complete the set tasks for the week beginning 1st June. Again this week we are recapping some of the grammatical features that we have looked at since September. Go through each PowerPoint and complete the tasks that are set.

Reading

 

Following the conclusion of Kensuke's Kingdom, we are now moving onto another Michael Morpurgo book - The Wreck of Zanzibar. Please read through the chapters from the online book link below and work your way through the daily sets of questions.

Science

 

So far in the topic we have looked at classifying animals into groups and the linnaean system. This we we are moving on to identifying characteristics of different types of animals.

Take your time and get creative colouring in this mindfulness lion.

PBL

 

This will be our penultimate lesson on the Mayans. This week we are investigating their achievements and identify how they were recorded. After reading through the PowerPoint, I would like you to research and choose the achievement that you feel is their greatest. I would then like you to record it yourselves using their hieroglyphics. You can sketch, paint, use clay or choose any other artistic technique to create them. Send in photos of your final piece.

ICT

 

This week we are having a focus on E Safety and what we need to consider in order to keep ourselves safe whilst online. Watch the video clip and think how you would react in that situation, what actions would you take and how you can prevent events like this from happening. Once you have considered these questions I would like you to design your own E Safety poster, video, PowerPoint that could be used in school.
