Week beginning 13.7.20

This is our final week of home learning. As school is closing on Wednesday, I have only set work to take you to up to this point. If I don't get to speak to you next week have a fantastic Summer and i'm sure i'll be able to catch up with you to see how you are getting on in Secondary School.

If you have any problems or need something explaining please continue to email in to year6@hawbush.dudley.sch.uk. I look forward to seeing what you have produced.

Please follow the link below to complete the set tasks for the week beginning 29th June. I have added all of the resources that you need for the week, you can still access the Friday challenge though directly from White Rose.

I have uploaded the daily reading tasks that should take around 15 - 20 minutes from last week for you to complete at home. As there were 9 activities there are still 4 to complete this week. Each day you shall be looking at a front cover and blurb of different books, making predictions on what the stories may be about. This will be followed by some comprehension questions from a snippet of the text.

As it is the final week I would like you to reflect on what has happened over the past 4 months. Take into consideration the changes you have made to your daily routines and consider where you will be in 6 months time.

As we did last week, read through the daily tasks set and complete each activity.

This weeks art work is all about you. We are all unique, your fingerprints are like no one else's. Read through the PowerPoint and print off the fingerprint and create a piece of art that tells me what is great about being you.

To finish off our Mayan project, I would like you to recreate a Mayan temple. Below are a set of instructions to follow, but make sure your designs are accurate before cutting to ensure all pieces will come together neatly.
